About Lamjed Gaidi
Who is Lamjed Gaidi?
I am Lamjed Gaidi, a senior full-stack software engineer based in Tunis with more than five years of experience (a Sup'Com telecommunications engineer). I design and ship web, mobile and backend products in TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, FastAPI and React Native, and I integrate applied AI (tool-calling LLM agents, MCP, RAG) with read-only access and human approval. I have worked at IntiGo (last-mile delivery, Tunisia) since April 2026, where I built Argus, an LLM agent whose email-triage V1 is in use, Shopify, WooCommerce and PrestaShop integrations, and a family of four iOS apps and one Android app; earlier I delivered products for Lodgo, FitIn, 24Resa, Mindquest, Qramer and TikTrak.
Where is Lamjed Gaidi based and which languages does he speak?
I am based in Tunis, Tunisia. I speak Arabic (native), French (fluent) and English (TOEIC 855).
How can I contact Lamjed Gaidi?
By email at lamjed.gaidi070@gmail.com or on LinkedIn (linkedin.com/in/lamjed-gaidi). My CV can be downloaded from this site.
What kind of job is Lamjed Gaidi open to?
Long-term work only. I am in a permanent (CDI) role at IntiGo and I look for stability: either a long-term permanent senior position on a stable product at a stable company in France, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK or Canada, or regular long-term freelance work, part-time included, such as taking over, securing and evolving existing applications (Supabase, Edge Functions, AI features, application security). I am not looking for short one-off gigs or early-stage startup work.
Career path and moves
What is Lamjed Gaidi's career path and how long was each role?
I have worked continuously as a software engineer since January 2021, with no gap. Digicross, permanent role, January 2021 to October 2023 (about 2 years 9 months). Tech-Expert (Mindquest), permanent role, October 2023 to February 2025 (1 year 4 months). Independent engagements: Kreatek (24Resa) January 2024 to May 2025 (about 1 year 5 months), FitIn May 2025 to July 2026 (about 1 year 2 months) and Lodgo since June 2026, some run in parallel with another role. IntiGo, permanent role (CDI), since April 2026.
Why did Lamjed Gaidi leave his previous jobs?
Each move has a clear reason. Digicross (January 2021 to October 2023, almost three years): the company closed its operations in Tunisia. Tech-Expert (October 2023 to February 2025): I left to work independently on a wider range of products, and my engagements at Kreatek and FitIn each lasted more than a year. Independent work (to July 2026): I returned to a permanent role at IntiGo in April 2026 for stability and long-term product ownership. I have not left IntiGo; it is my current role. I have worked continuously since January 2021 with no gap, and I am now looking for long-term work.
Does Lamjed Gaidi change jobs often? Why were some roles short?
No. My career has been continuous since January 2021, with no gap. My first role lasted about 2 years 9 months, the next 1 year 4 months, then independent engagements of about 1 year 5 months (Kreatek) and 1 year 2 months (FitIn). Each change has a specific reason (a company closing in Tunisia, a choice to work independently, a return to stability), and I have been permanent at IntiGo since April 2026, looking for a long-term commitment.
Why did Lamjed Gaidi leave Digicross?
I left Digicross in October 2023 when the company closed its operations in Tunisia. I had worked there almost three years, from MERN and React Native development to setting up CI/CD.
Why did Lamjed Gaidi leave Tech-Expert for independent work?
I left Tech-Expert in February 2025 to work independently on a wider range of products (TravelTech at Kreatek, a mobile app with RAG at FitIn), with engagements of more than a year each.
Why did Lamjed Gaidi return to a permanent role?
I returned to a permanent role at IntiGo in April 2026 because I want stability and long-term product ownership, after several years of independent engagements. I now look for long-term work only, permanent or regular freelance.
Sectors, projects, skills and AI
What sectors has Lamjed Gaidi worked in?
I have built software in seven sectors: PropTech (Lodgo, a vacation-rental marketplace connected to the Guesty and Hostaway PMS, and the 24Resa hotel platform with the Cyberesa PMS), TravelTech (24Resa, with the Travelgate API for OTA distribution), logistics and e-commerce (IntiGo, with Shopify, WooCommerce and PrestaShop integrations and the Argus LLM agent), HRTech (Mindquest, an AI-powered ATS), EdTech (Qramer), fitness and health tech (FitIn, with RAG and video coaching) and agriculture and equipment (Agri Location, TikTrak). The sector table on the Projects page lists the systems and technologies for each.
What projects has Lamjed Gaidi worked on?
I am Lamjed Gaidi, a senior full-stack engineer in Tunis. Since 2021 I have delivered web, mobile and backend products in logistics (IntiGo, including an LLM agent called Argus, an e-commerce module in staging pilot, Shopify, WooCommerce and PrestaShop integrations, and a family of four iOS apps and one Android app), PropTech (Lodgo), AI fitness coaching (FitIn, RAG on React Native), TravelTech (24Resa), HR technology (Mindquest) and EdTech (Qramer). The table below gives each project's context, skills and verified outcomes.
What is the project Lamjed Gaidi is most proud of and excited about?
Argus, the LLM agent I am building at IntiGo. What excites me is that it reduces human interaction on repetitive work: for every incoming email, the agent reads the message, checks the facts in the read-only production database, then chooses an action (do nothing, draft a reply, notify the right person on Slack and email, or escalate). Teams no longer sort the inbox by hand, and some triage and routing tasks no longer need a person at all. Argus also coordinates work between team members: it sends each request to the right person without a manager having to dispatch it. Humans keep the sensitive decisions: auto-send is disabled and every reply is a draft a person approves, with autonomy earned category by category. The email-triage V1 is shipped and in use; further modules (social media, outbound conversations, an internal CRM) are planned and not yet shipped. I do not claim measured savings at this stage.
What applied AI projects has Lamjed Gaidi built?
My main applied AI project is Argus, a tool-calling LLM agent I built at IntiGo. It uses Claude for reasoning, local Gemma and Qwen models through Ollama for privacy-sensitive data, MCP tools over a read-only data replica, and human approval before any action. Argus is shipped and in use (the email-triage V1) and remains an ongoing project: further modules are planned and not yet shipped. FitIn is a separate project: a mobile coaching app with a RAG pipeline (OpenAI API, Supabase, pgvector).
What technologies does Lamjed Gaidi use most?
I mostly use TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, PHP and SQL; React, Next.js and Tailwind CSS; Node.js, NestJS, Express and FastAPI; React Native and Expo; PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis and Supabase; Jest, Cypress, Playwright, SonarQube, GitHub Actions and GitLab CI; and for applied AI, the Claude and OpenAI APIs, tool calling, MCP, RAG and Ollama.
